Caroline & Reda

Once upon a time, on a Friday evening in Philadelphia, Reda spotted Caroline the moment she walked into the Barnes Art Museum. Dressed in a bright pink suit, he was impossible to miss — yet Caroline was far too captivated by the exhibition to notice him.

Later that evening, he tapped her on the shoulder. A conversation turned into laughter, laughter into a first date, and one playful question — “Can you guess where I’m from?” — became the beginning of their story. To Reda’s surprise, one of Caroline’s first guesses was Morocco.

Life soon became a collection of shared adventures, until one journey brought them to Marrakech. After celebrating a friend’s wedding, they escaped to the Agafay Desert. As the sun dipped behind the dunes and Caroline stopped to pet a stray dog, Reda knelt to propose.

Before he could say a word, Caroline smiled and said, “Yes.” Laughing, Reda replied, “I haven’t asked yet.”
